I’m not sure if you all may know this, but each Private View the Spotlight Artists generously donate some of their work for the door prize. This months winner is the lovely Ms. Shirley who has won, not one but two hand-painted wine glasses and a card by Laura Eveleigh and a beautiful calendar by April Lacheur. She was thrilled to be the recipient of these wonderful art pieces……who know maybe next month it will be you

We are gearing up for the second Private View event here at Bird on a Wire. Last months was fantastic, and we are dedicated to making this event even better! The two artist tables, located front and centre, currently display a selection of whimsical textile pieces by artist Karen Yaremkewich. Known for her thematic creations, these no doubt conjure images of talking rabbits and tea parties! The other table host a selection of ethereal Photographic prints by Suzanne Goodwin. Her photographs evoke feelings of melancholy, sweetness and dreams. Musical performance by emerging artist Genevieve Antanina.
Private View is a series of events scheduled to run on the first Thursday of the month. These informal evenings feature live music and showcase works by select visual artists. You are welcome to drop by, or stay for the whole evening. Friends are welcome. Wine and snacks will be served. View affordable art, and meet local artists!
