We are thrilled to have visual artist, Rachael Ashe creating her wonderful altered books in our store window this Saturday! If you haven’t seen her work before, they are remarkable pieces of intricate and delicately assembled sculptural books that can be hung on a wall, or set on a surface. She combines unlikely materials, like twigs and feathers, with carefully constructed shapes of patterned paper, into whimsical arrangements that take your imagination to far-off places. If you would like to see her assemblage take form, she will be available at the store between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you didn’t meet her at the recent Private View, this is your chance, I hear she likes chocolate
