We are thrilled to have Robbie Vergara working on his screen printed t-shirts and other textile items as our next Artist in the Window! Also a filmmaker, Robbie has incorporated a wide array of inspiration into his line, and specifically likes to work with 18th and 19th Century Biology drawings. Names like “King of the Raven”, “Happy Bat Face” and “Golden Guns” speak to his perfect blend of bold graphics and surreal imagery. Robbie pulls the ink on a screen to make each individual item so that what looks “the same” is uniquely different, and that process makes these items special in a world of digitally printed items.
